Cole Joseph Bolte, 37, Kansas City, Missouri
Cole Joseph Bolte, 37, of Kansas City, Missouri, died September 13 at his home. He was born in Huntingburg October 30, 1984. to Mark and Mary (Hedinger) Bolte. He married Sabrina Sandeen September 21, 2013, on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.
Cole was a 2003 graduate of Forest Park High School and received a BFA from Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI. He worked as a graphics coordinator at Huhtamaki and was a homebrewer and a member of the Kansas City Bier Meisters. He was an avid fan of music and the arts and a member of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. He enjoyed modern architecture and design, cooking, cars, NFL football, and travel, especially to the desert.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Sandeen; his parents, Mark and Mary Bolte, Ferdinand; three brothers, Jason Bolte and wife Barb, Bozeman, Montana, Jarrod Bolte and wife Wendy, Denver, Colorado, and Jesse Bolte and wife Pam, Huntingburg; two sisters, Brooke Orth and husband Jeremy and Autumn, all of Bristow; nieces and nephews Lila, Megan, Isabelle, Cooper, Grace, and Hudson; and his maternal grandmother, Elfrieda Hedinger.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Mildred Bolte, his maternal grandfather, Herbert Hedinger, and one nephew, Ben Bolte.
A Celebration of Life open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 2, in the Mobel Room at the Ferdinand Community Center. Memorial contributions can be made to Bedtime in a Box or the Nelson-Atkins Museum.
