Ruth Jean Bolin Englert, 78, Ferdinand

Ruth Jean Bolin Englert, 78, of Ferdinand, died Saturday, September 11, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. She was born in Martinsville January 28, 1943, to Loyd and Ida (Pool) Bolin. She married Floyd Englert May 30, 1964, in Jasper.

Ruth was a cook for many years at the Ferdinand American Legion and Yaggi’s Restaurant in Jasper and Ferdinand Holiday Foods.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Englert; two sons, Kenny Englert and wife Julie, Ferdinand, and Randy Englert, Huntingburg; one daughter, Pamela Englert and husband Patrick, Ferdinand; two sisters, Lois Stephens and husband Roger, Martinsville, and Judy Burton, Fayetteville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Greg Adams Jr., Salem, Kentucky, Brienna Englert, Dale, Rachel Workman, Birdseye, Andrew Englert, Bretzville, and Jessica Englert, Indianapolis; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey and Lyla Workman Lyla Workman and Colson Huff.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Donald Bolin, and one sister, Doris Hamilton.
