Charles William “Charlie” Wright, 38, Clarksville

Charles William “Charlie” Wright, 38, of Clarksville, died Monday, July 26, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born in Jasper June 20, 1983, to Charles H. “Snowball” and Nancy S. (Linthicum) Wright.

Charlie graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He recently started a new job as the operational business leader with Masterbrand. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, and cooking.

He is survived by his significant other, Kourtney Rollins, Clarksville; his parents, Charles and Nancy Wright, Eckerty; two daughters, Deanna Faith and Brenna Kate Wright, both of Birdseye; and two sisters, Crystal Arvin and husband Chris, Jasper, and Shelby Wimmenauer and husband Eric, Washington.

Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, in Birdseye Cemetery. Rev. Albert Madden will officiate. Online condolences can be shared at
