Peggy Delores Brown, 73, Huntingburg

Peggy Delores Brown, 73, of Huntingburg, died Friday, July 23, at City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. She was born in Giles County, Alabama, August 23, 1947, to Raymond and Evelyn (Johnson) Brown.

Peggy retired from Dubois Wood Products in Huntingburg. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cromwell, Kentucky, the Huntingburg VFW Auxiliary, and the Huntingburg Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her significant other, Stephen Leibering, Huntingburg; three sons, Bryan Collard, Huntingburg, Scott Collard and wife Kathy, Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and David Collard and wife Stacy, Lafayette, Tennessee; two daughters, Tanya Hentrup and husband Jeff, Huntingburg, and Melissa “Missy” Morgan and husband Jeff, Morgantown, Kentucky; two step-sons, Mike Collard and wife Elizabeth, Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Steve Collard, Princeton, Kentucky; one brother, Melvin Brown and wife Debbie, Louisville; seven grandchildren, Ashley Britt, Scotty and Autumn Collard, Jacob Stewart, Libby Morgan, and Austin and Tamara “Markey” Davis; and three great-grandchildren, Bryson Britt, and Hunter and Jaxon Ferguson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Brown, and one sister, Jean Russell.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Online condolences can be shared at Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville. Brother Gary Embry and Brother T.J. Howard will officiate at the service.
