Congratulations to the Jasper Wildcats and the Southridge Raiders as they both advance to Semi-State action.  The Jasper Reds kick off their 128th season and got 1 complete game in before the weather really hit, Bo Davis was the winning pitcher and allowed only 3 singles.  Stuck out 5, walked 2, and gave up only 1 unearned run.  Jasper Reds won 10-1, Reece Bauer & Jacob Crabtree had 2 singles each.  Next game is Sunday doubleheader at JV field against the Indianapolis Heat, game-time is 1:30.

Things looked a bit rough for the Wildcats in the regional as Center Grove Pitcher Jacob Wilson held Jasper hitless till the fifth inning. But Jasper bounced back with seven fifth inning runs including a  Eli Hopf Grand Slam as Jasper came from 4-0 down and defeated Center Grove 7-4. Jasper advances to the Semi State next Saturday.
