Cliff E. Adams, 82, Jasper
Cliff E. Adams, 82, of Jasper , died Friday, June 4, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa, June 9, 1938. He married Harriet Louise Thompson March 10, 1962. She died November 29, 2008.
Cliff retired from the steel mills in Indiana, where he worked as an engineer for many years. He was a member of Masonic Line Lodge 743 in Jasper, a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner, the York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Knights Templar.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Celsor and husband Scott, Greendale, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Victoria, Catherine, and Elizabeth; his best friend, Shelly Bair, Jasper; and one daughter-in-law, Rebecca Swaim-Little and husband Barry, Florida.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Robert T. Adams.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. The Masonic Lodge will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital. Online condolences can be shared at www.becherkluesner.com. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following at a later date in Lowell Cemetery in Lowell.
