Cletus E. Seifert, 69, Huntingburg

Cletus E. Seifert, 69, of Huntingburg, died Monday, January 11, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. He was born in Huntingburg April 29, 1951, to Ralph and Theresia (Schaeffer) Seifert.

Cletus worked at Hurst Custom Cabinets in Huntingburg. He was a member of Abe Lincoln American Legion Post 444 in Dale, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Quail and Upland Game Alliance. He was active with the Southridge Football Boosters and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by one son, Nathan (Deb Scott) Seifert, Holland; his mother, Theresia Seifert, Dale; three sisters, Pearl Gelarden, Fulda, Phyllis Schaefer and husband Mark, Dale, and Edna Chase, Holland; three brothers, Louis and Gary Seifert, both of Dale, and Kenny Seifert and wife Gia, Moberly, Missouri; and one sister-in-law, Inez Schroeder and husband Edward, Huntingburg.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Seifert, and one brother, David A. Seifert.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Dale Cemetery. Nass and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com.
