Vivian Kleiser Flynn, 86, Ferdinand
Vivian Kleiser Flynn, 86, of Ferdinand, died Monday, November 16, at Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand. She was born in Rockport September 18, 1934, to Frances Daming and Edgar Myers. She had two marriages, to Clarence “Curly” Kleiser, who died in 1977, and to Richard Flynn, who died in 2010.
Vivian played Tripoly with her Fulda friends every month for nearly 55 years. She volunteered in the Memorial Hospital gift shop, was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church Ladies Sodality and the St. Meinrad Legion Auxiliary, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by five sons, Tom Kleiser and wife Trish, Tell City, Tim Kleiser and wife Tammy, Santa Claus, Greg Kleiser and wife Brenda and Kent Kleiser, all of Fulda, and Keith Kleiser, Dale; one daughter, Jane Shipp (John Stocker) Santa Claus; three step-sons, Rick Flynn, Washington, David Flynn and wife Jan, Jasper, and Chris Flynn and wife Karen, Comers, Connecticut; two step-daughters, Kathy Dant and husband Darin, Brownsburg, and Christine Loughery and husband Steve, Naples, Florida; 13 grandchildren; Stacy, Tara, Holly, Tina, Crystal, Brooke, Lee Ann, Brittney, Karla, Drew, Megan, Lesley and Cheryl; 17 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jessica, Ashley, Sean, Megan, Madison, Michael, Mitchell, Derek, Alyson, Jim, Joe, Jack, Luke, Caroline, Scott, and Tim; and several great-grand and step great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Frances Knepper, Evanston, and two brothers, Ron Zoglman, New Boston, and Randy Zoglman, Fulda.
In addition to her parents and two husbands she was preceded in death by her step-father, Calarence Zoglman, and two sisters, Marcia Zoglman and Kathy Webb.
