Sarah Jane Hohler, 68, Huntingburg
Sarah Jane Hohler, 68, of Huntingburg, died Thursday, November 12, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Huntingburg October 4, 1952, to Linus and Clarissa (Jacobs) Hohler.
Sarah was a graduate of Huntingburg High School and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She retired from Kimball Electronics where she worked for over 40 years. She enjoyed working on family genealogy and spending time with her niece, nephews, and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two sisters, Doris Bromm and husband Delmar, Huntingburg, and Frances Giesler and husband Don, Jasper; one brother, Edward Hohler and wife Judy, Huntingburg; one niece, Katrina “Susie” Watts and husband Zach; six nephews, Dean Bromm and wife Elaine, Mark Giesler and wife Teresa, Mike Bromm and wife Jenny, Brian Giesler and wife De De, Eddie Hohler and wife Karla, and Doug Bromm and wife Jill; and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Linus and Clarissa Hohler.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg. Father Biju Thomas will officiate the funeral mass. Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg is in charge of arrangements.
