James L. “Jim” Roesner, 75, Huntingburg

James L. “Jim” Roesner, 75, of Huntingburg, died Friday, October 30, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born in Huntingburg January 11, 1945, to Elmer and Juanita (Bush) Roesner. He married Donna Schwinghamer December 27, 1975, at St. James Lutheran Church in Holland.

Jim was a farmer and a school bus driver for 37 years. He was a member of St. James Church and enjoyed watching basketball and sporting events on television.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Roesner; three sons, James “J.R.” Roesner and wife Charlotte, Ferdinand, William “B.J.” Roesner and wife Jill, St. Henry, and Eric Roesner and companion Staci Schaefer, Holland; one daughter, Cari Ferguson and husband Heath, Holland; and three grandsons.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and William Roesner.

Private visitation will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg followed by private burial and graveside services in St. Henry Cemetery.
