Wilma V. Runyan, 91, Huntingburg

Wilma V. Runyan, 91, of Huntingburg, died Wednesday, October 28, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Pike County October 7, 1929, to Zenus and Doris Dale (Richardson) Wineinger. She married Ervin Dalton October 20, 1951. He died December 5, 1975. She married Myron E. Runyan January 4, 1980, at Central Christian Church in Huntingburg.

Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the Towne and Country Home Ec. Club, the American Sewing Guild, Central Christian Church, the Bible Study group, and Dubois County Daughters of the American Revolution where she was a former regent.

She is survived by her husband, Myron E. Runyan; two daughters, Cathy Visage, Greenville, North Carolina, and Diane Brothers, Evansville; four sons, Dave Dalton and wife Donna, Huntingburg, Jim Dalton and wife Ann, Jasper, Mike Dalton and wife Brenda, Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and Robert Dalton and wife Yvonne, Leavenworth; two brothers, Owen Wineinger and wife Betty, Wisconsin, and John Wineinger and wife Anna, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one sister, Nona Miller, Huntingburg; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Wineinger, sister-in-law Lila Wineinger, and brother-in-law Gordon Miller.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church. Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg is in charge of arrangements.
