Donald Ray “Donnie” Kruger, 66, Davie, Florida
Donald Ray “Donnie” Kruger, 66, of Davie, Florida, died Monday, October 26, at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was born in Jasper June 22, 1954, to Charles A. and Irene (Heidet) Kruger.
Donnie retired from Jack Lyons Truck Parts in Florida. He was a member of Jasper Moose Lodge 1175. He enjoyed comic book collecting and spending time with family and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and Indiana University basketball.
He is survived by one brother, Charles F. Kruger, Jasper; and several nieces and nephews, including those he was raised with, Roxane Eckerle and husband Scott, Angie Flick, Ted Zehr and wife Cheryl, Clyston Zehr Jr. and wife Debbie, and Deanna, Mitch, and Todd Zehr; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Valeria Zehr and Patricia Kruger, and one brother; Robert Kruger.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Church, Precious Blood Church, or to a favorite charity.
