Warren K. Springston, 90, Selvin
Warren K. Springston, 90, of Selvin, died Thursday, October 1, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born in Evansville October 12, 1929, to Roy and Arline (Avery) Springston. He married Dorothy M. Klein December 11, 1948. She died September 28, 2020.
Warren was a school teacher and for most of his career taught math at Central High School in Evansville and worked as a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being in the outdoors.
He is survived by three daughters, Donna Morgan and wife Carroll, Barbara Werremeyer and husband Jack, and Linda Hall and husband Charlie, all of Selvin; one son, David Springston and wife Sharon, Holland; son-in-law Steve Brace, Holland; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Brace, one son, Roy Dean Springston, and one brother, Grenade Springston.
Private visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. The family has asked that services remain private due to COVID-19 precautions. Memorial contributions can be made to the Pigeon Township Community Center. Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com.
