Friday Night Football Forest Park wins, Raiders win again, Jasper looses a close one to Castle Knights
Jasper and Castle had a battle on their hands all the way to the end going into the half with a 10-7 lead. Quarter back Blake Mann had a impressive 1st half but then the Knights went to work and shut the Cats down the whole second half. Castle scored the all important go ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter and the Cats could not find a answer to get back in the end zone. Jasper will be on the road again next Friday to Evansville North and hopefully come home with a win. The Cats are 5-2 as they head into the sectional draw just a week away.
Forest Park celebrated a lot last night including their Homecoming, congratulations to Jake Begle and Tori Fetter named King and Queen last night. The Southridge Raiders continue their dominance with another win as they are now 7 -0. Southridge put on a clinic beating South Spencer 48-3
putting another impressive 453 yards of offense on the board. The Raiders scored 21 in the first quarter, 21 in the second and wrapped it up with one more score in the 3rd quarter. Defense kept the rebels from advancing and out of the end zone. Chase Taylor threw a bomb a 77 yard pass to Cadem Gasser for a otherwise pretty quiet passing night. The 7-0 Raiders will be at home Friday against Heritage Hills who will be coming off a 38 -8 victory over Washington in what should be a heck of a game.
