Patricia “Pat” Woebkenberg, 75, Wellston, Ohio

Patricia “Pat” Woebkenberg, 75, of Wellston, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 1, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born in Ferdinand April 24, 1945, to Urban and Norena (Weyer) Lueken.

Pat was a musician. She began playing piano at a young age and was playing the organ for masses while she was still in elementary school. She also played the cornet in her school band. She has played the organ for masses at both Holy Trinity and Sts. Peter and Paul parishes in Wellston for nearly 40 years. Over the years she accompanied numerous choirs, soloists, and school musicals, was active in the Jackson High School (Ohio) Band Boosters, and enjoyed watching her daughters perform in concerts and plays. She was a teacher in the Jackson city schools for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Woebkenberg; two daughters, Heidi (Woebkenberg) Chow and Nicole (Woebkenberg) Behn; and  four grandchildren, Lily and Ella Chow and Emily and Kevin Behn.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Lueken.
