Rod Buschkoetter, 60, Lake St. Louis, Missouri

Rod Buschkoetter, 60, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 8, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born in Jasper July 20, 1960, to Anthony and Mary Lou (Sermersheim) Buschkoetter. He married Diane Welp April 25, 1987, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.

Rod was a graduate of Purdue University. He was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft, Sabreliner Aircraft, Triumph Aerospace/Fabritech, and M International. He enjoyed traveling and studying theology and was involved with The Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA), Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Helicopter Association International (HAI), and the Air Force Association (AFA).

He is survived by his wife, Diane Buschkoetter; three children, Kyle, Craig, and Andrea Buschkoetter, all of St. Louis; and one brother, Ryan Buschkoetter, Huntingburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Lou Buschkoetter.

Private visitation for family and extended family will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Memorial donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, St. Mary’s Church, or to a favorite charity. Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com. Friends are invited to attend funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Biju Thomas.
