Dubois County Museum featuring Jasper Strassenfest collection to keep the spirit of the Strassenfest alive

Even though the 2020 Jasper Strassenfest is cancelled the Dubois County Museum will keep the spirit of Strassenfest alive by exhibiting from July 30 through the month of August their collection of Strassenfest articles from the past years of StrassenfestThe museum Exhibit team will display the complete Sets of Strassenfest Mugs, Buttons, and Programs; dating back to the beginning of the Strassenfest.  The 2020 mug and button will be added to the collection. This is a great chance to see this collection this year if you have missed it in the past due to other activities taking place elsewhere. Due to COVID 19 the Saturday, August 1 programs planned with Richard Day on education in Southern Indiana and a special Schoolhouse program in the museum’s schoolhouse will be cancelled. The museum will be open normal hours from Tuesdays through Fridays from 10-2 p.m., Saturdays from 10-4 p.m., and Sundays from 1-4pm. The museum is closed on Mondays.
