William E. “Bill” Mundy, Huntingburg

William E. “Bill” Mundy, 59, of Huntingburg, died Tuesday, May 12, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. He was born in Jasper August 17, 1960, to Linus and Phyllis (Schrader) Mundy. He married Annette L. Stephens August 18, 1979, in Huntingburg.

Bill was an inspector for Toyota Manufacturing in Princeton and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Indiana University sports fan and enjoyed camping, grilling, home improvement projects and being with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Annette L. Mundy; one son, B.J. Mundy and wife Heather, Princeton; one daughter, Racheal Harder and husband Wayne, Jasper; six brothers, Ronald, David, Michael, and Charlie Mundy, all of Ferdinand, Marty Mundy, Jasper, and John Mundy, Jeffersonville; one sister, Barb Matthews and husband Bob, Ferdinand; five grandchildren, Jeremiah and Gehrig Mundy, Reece and Ryan Harder, and Dylan Gray; and one great-grandchild, Laney Mundy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bean and Bernadine Mundy.

Private funeral services will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial following in Chinn Cemetery near Dale. Limited visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com.
