Herbert J. Lumpp, Jr., 79, Jasper
Herbert J. Lumpp, Jr., 79, of Jasper, died Thursday, April 29, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, July 15, 1940, to Herbert J. Sr. and Violet (Kraake) Lumpp He married Marilyn Franciere January 6, 1962, at St. Simeon Church in Bellwood, Illinois.
Herbert was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a press operator for W.F. Hall Printing Company in Chicago and for Mail Well Printing in Arizona. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland and enjoyed gardening, classic cars, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lumpp; one son, Herbert Lumpp III and wife Carol, Ireland; two daughters, Karen Foderaro and husband Dean, Cookeville, Tennessee, and Susan Lumpp, Madison, Kansas; five grandchildren, Austin, Madison, and Spencer Hubbard, Jessica Flores and husband Diego, and Dino Foderaro and wife Anna; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Foderaro and Dominic Flores; and two sisters; Ramona Rucks, Wisconsin, and Dorothy Beard, Arizona.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Morgan Hubbard, one sister; Blanche Bade, and three brothers, Raymond and William Lumpp, and Neal Lumpp, who died in childhood.
