Wilma L. Julian, 82, Birdseye
Wilma L. Julian, 82, of Birdseye, died Friday, February 13, at her home. She was born in Birdseye February 13, 1938, to Clovie and Bertha (Deel) King. She married James “Jim” Julian August 22, 1958, in Huntingburg. He died August 8, 2007.
Wilma was a military wife. She worked at Walmart in Texas for 10 years and, along with her husband, pastored a church in Carmi, Illinois. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Birdseye.
She is survived by two sons, James Julian, Jr. and wife Debra, Lawton, Oklahoma, and Mark Alan Julian and wife Darlene, Birdseye; one brother, Wayne King and wife Sue, Indianapolis; one sister, Phyllis O’Connor, Indianapolis; sister-in-law Janet King, Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Julian, two brothers, Elvis and Gerald King, one sister, Olive King, one brother-in-law, Norman O’Connor, and one grandson, Shawn Julian.

Funeral services at noon Sunday at the church. Pastor Bret Eckert and Rev. Jerry Cottrell will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Kuykendall Cemetery near Carmi, Illinois.
