Legacy Living Delays Grand Opening

Jasper (NNDC):

Coronavirus and the likely spread of the infection continue to be of concern here in Dubois County and indeed throughout the State, the Country and the World.

Legacy Living in Jasper has announced it is postponing its planned Grand Open celebrations due to the outbreak. Officials say they need to protect their vulnerable senior population, adding the high traffic event would have caused concern.  The opening will be rescheduled pending further developments of the infection.

There have been four cases of coronavirus confirmed in Indiana and a second student in Avon is showing symptoms.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has updated its new COVID-19 online dashboard to reflect two additional presumptive positive cases. These patients are located in Adams and Boone counties. This brings to 6 the number of Hoosiers who have tested positive for the disease.
