Ireland Elementary First, Second, and Fifth Grades are 100% Irish
Although not officially part of Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Celebration, the students at Ireland Elementary have been putting on their Irish show for a number of years and they are certainly got the Irish spirit. “100% Irish” is the title of this years program and the students did a great job with songs including “Let’s Wear Green and Dance a Jig”, “Five Little Shamrocks”, “Sing a Rainbow”, “Wait and See”, “There’s Irish in our Eyes”, “Nuair ‘Ta Me Inithe”, “I’m Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover”, “Leprechaun Stew”, “The Rainbow Connection”, “St. Patrick’s Day March”, “An Old Irish Blessing”, and of course “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” which included David Knies on Violin.
