Sharon Marie Lange, 66, Ferdinand

Sharon Marie Lange, 66, of Ferdinand, died Friday, February 28, at Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand. She was born in Tell City October 16, 1953, to Cletus and Ruth (Hagerdon) Rogier. She married Norman Lange August 22, 1987, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow. He died February 24, 2015.

Sharon was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. She helped with summer vacation Bible School. She was a 1972 graduate of Perry Central High School. She enjoyed traveling, reading, word puzzles, visiting state parks, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Holly M. Lange, Ferdinand; three sisters, Mary Cassidy and husband Richard and Diane Harrison and husband Jesse, all of Tell City, and Carol Schwoeppe and husband Rodney, Ferdinand; two brothers, Linus Rogier and wife Michelle and Kevin Rogier and wife Sue, all of Branchville; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ferdinand Church, Heart to Heart Hospice, or Lange- Fuchs Cancer Center. Online condolences can be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
