Jasper Police ask Public’s Help
Jasper Police are asking for your help investigating a crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 6th Street and Truman Road. Police say it happened around 4:40 p.m.
A driver was waiting to turn left onto Truman when the light turned yellow and then made a turn into the intersection as another vehicle approached and subsequently collided.
The driver who was turning contends the other driver ran the red light. The female driver says it was yellow when she proceeded through the intersection.
JPD asks that if the public can shed some light on the accident, please contact them and ask for Sgt. Bower.
The female driver, a Jasper woman, was taken to the hospital complaining of chest pain. The other driver, a male, was not injured in the indecent.
