UPDATED: Tuesday Sports Results

Dubois County (NNDC):  The fall sports schedules are winding down but several area teams were in action on Tuesday night.


(Boys) Forest Park 10 – Washington Catholic 0

(Girls) Heritage Hills 5 – Jasper 2

The Forest Park Rangers was on the road at Washington Catholic on Tuesday and had no trouble dismantling the Cardinals.   Freshman Carter Hinson scored the Rangers 1st goal after a deflection off the goalkeeper.   The Rangers went on to score 3 more goals in the 1st half and added 6 more in the 2nd.   JD Kerber, Logan Englert, Tyler Berger, Gabe Muller, Hunter Helming and Trejan Morrison also had goals for Forest Park.  Zach Wahl recorded his 5th shutout of the season for Forest Park.   The Rangers had 4 starters that did not play in the contest due to injuries.


Southridge 5 – Wood Memorial 0

The Southridge Raiders dominated Wood Memorial on the tennis court Tuesday as the Raiders pick up wins in all 5 matches.   Winners for Southridge include:  Austin Barkley (#1 singles), Max Rasche (#2 singles), Liam Lubbehusen (#3 singles, won by forfeit), Ethan Bell/Sam Sermersheim (#1 doubles), Konner Thyen/Levi Schaeffer (#2 doubles)


Barr-Reeve 3 – Jasper 0 (Varsity)

Barr-Reeve 2 – Jasper 1 (Junior Varsity)

Jasper fell to Barr-Reeve on Tuesday night in straight sets.   Allison Mair led all hitters with 10 kills.  Izzy Hopf had 3 kills and 5 blocks in the loss.  Kate Green had 15 assists on the night, while Reagan Egbert led the defense with 11 digs.   The Wildcats are now 10-6 on the season and will face Northeast Dubois on Thursday.


Evansville Central 189, Jasper 202, Boonville 232

The Jasper Lady Wildcats finished 2nd on Tuesday at the Boonville Country Club.  The Cats finished with a 202.  Individual scores for Jasper: Anna Schmitt 46, Ainsley Pierce 48, Allie Schnarr 53, Hillary Springer 55, Emma Ruxer 67
