Terry R. Wolfe, 67, Vincennes
Terry R. Wolfe, 67, of Vincennes, Indiana, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. He was born in Vincennes on August, 6, 1951, to Robert and Norma Jean (McClure) Wolfe. He married Peggy Danhafer on June 26, 1999, in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois.
He was a 1969 graduate of North Knox High School. He received a Mechanic Degree from Vincennes University. He worked his entire life with the Operating Engineers Local 181 and the United Mine Workers. He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois and the Washington Boat Club. He enjoyed gardening, camping, woodworking, spending time outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Wolfe, Vincennes; three sons, David Neukam and wife, Shelly, of Haysville, Michael Neukam and wife, Candace of Dawson Springs, KY, Chris Cook and wife, Ashley, of Newburgh, IN; six grandchildren, Landon (Alison) Neukam, Nichole (Steven) Hulfachor, Katelyn (Dacoda) Mehringer, Alli (Conner) Kempf, Harlee (Dillion Ramsey)Zehr, Hunter Neukam, Meredith and Grayson Cook; four great grandchildren, Keaton and Hudson Neukam, Shaelynn Hulfachor, and Addisyn Kempf; one sister, Susan Marchino and husband, Rex, of Vincennes; nieces and nephews, Stacey Marchino, Brooke (Chaz) Hendrix, Kourtney (Adam Schenk) Marchino; great nieces and nephews, Addy Marchino, and Harper and Charlie Hendrix; and one aunt, Etta (Bob) Byerley-Wolfe. Preceding him in death are his parents.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Visitation will also be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Pastor John Sterrett will officiate.
