Isabelle M. Meyer, 11, Jasper
Isabelle M. Meyer, 11, of Jasper, died Monday, June 24, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville due to injuries suffered in an accident in Perry County. She was born in Evansville to Benjamin Brassard and Amanda S. Meyer.
Isabelle would have been entering her sixth grade school year at Jasper Middle School where she was looking forward to being a member of the cross country team. She was an active five year member of the Girl Scouts of America. As a scout she enjoyed volunteering and doing things for other people. She was also a member of Girls on the Run for two years and Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, where she was strong in her faith and enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School. She was a carefree girl who enjoyed her dolls, always believed the best in everyone, enjoyed helping at home, and was her daddy’s little girl.
She is survived by her maternal grandparents and guardians, Cynthia and Stan Meyer, Jasper; her mother, Amanda Peters and husband Ira, Jasper; her father, Benjamin Brassard and wife Ashley, Evansville; siblings Alana Meyer, Chloe and Louis Marie Peters, Madi and Tucker Brassard, and Stasha Hemmer; her paternal grandparents, Dan and Mary Brassard, Avon; and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents and one cousin, Henry Brassard.
