Dubois County (NNDC):  As High School Basketball enters it’s final week of the regular season, two Dubois County teams were in action on Saturday night.   The Southridge Raiders headed into the night looking for their 8th win in a row as they hosted the Loogootee Lions.   Loogootee was looking for their 3rd  win in a row and 9th overall on the season.    The Lions got off to a strong start and led the Raiders 9-8 after one quarter.   It was all Southridge in the 2nd quarter as the Raiders jumped out to an 11 point lead at the mid way point.   The second half saw both teams battling and tempers flare but in the end Southridge picked up the 60-47 win.   Colson Montgomery became Southridge’s all time regular season scoring leader in the contest.   Montgomery led all scorers with 28 points.   Joe LaGrange added 13 for the Raiders.   Southridge drained 11 three pointers and improved their record to 17-5.   The Raiders will host Boonville on Friday night to close out the regular season.

The Forest Park Rangers entered their contest with PAC Conference foe Pike Central looking to improve on their 12-9 record.    Pike Central was looking to get back on the winning track after dropping their last 6 games.    Forest Park picks up the win with a 47-30 victory over the Chargers.   With the win, Forest Park is now 13-9 on the campaign.   The Rangers will wrap up their regular season on Tuesday night as they travel to Gibson Southern 5-14.
