Dubois County Bombers Pick Up Win in the Bluegrass World Series
Louisville (NNDC) – The Dubois County Bombers opened up play in the Bluegrass World Series with a 5-2 win on Tuesday night at Slugger Field in Louisville. The Bombers trailed the Sterling X-Press by one run heading into the bottom of the 8th inning when Dubois County exploded for four runs including a homerun by Evan Aders which scored three Bombers. Dubois County held their opponent scoreless in the top of the 9th giving the Bombers the win.
Jaxson Blair picked up the win for Dubois County after pitching two innings, allowing zero runs, no hits and striking out one. The Bombers picked up nine hits on the day and were led by Evan Aders, John McDonald and Cooper Trinkle with 2 hits apiece.
Dubois County will return to action on Thursday at 7pm.
