Dubois County (NNDC):
Jeremy A. Kellams 38, of 4060 Wilhelm Strasse Apt 1, was arrested around 10:00 AM yesterday for domestic Battery, Possession of paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a hypodermic
Police were called to the apartment in reference to an altercation. Upon arrival officers discovered that Kellams had been physical with a female at the location. Kellams was arrested on the three charges and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
Strassenfest Setup to Begin Soon:
Begining Monday morning the 23rd motorists are advised to use caution when driving around and near the square and use caution as setup for the annual Strassenfest is to begin soon.
The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive tomorrow Tuesday July 24th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Indiana State Police post in Jasper which is located at the corner of Schuetter Road and Newton Street in Jasper. Citizens are encouraged to donate blood to this worthy organization.
School Security Still a Focus:
School security is still a heavy focus for schools throughout the State. Legislators have allocated funding to provide metal detecting “wands” and have allocated other funding for increased security and monitoring.
