Wildcats Repeat As Boys Swimming Sectional Champions
Jasper (NNDC) – The Wildcats held off a strong challenge by Pike Central Saturday in successfully repeating as boys swimming sectional champions at the JHS Aquatic Center.
Jasper won with 392.5 points to Pike Central’s 386.5. Southridge was fifth overall with 152 points and Northeast Dubois had one of its best sectional performances in school history finishing eighth overall with 123. CLICK HERE FOR TEAM SCORING
Jasper (3:23.45) clinched the sectional title winning the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, the final event of the sectional outswimming the Chargers (3:26.14). The relay foursome is made up of senior Ben Nolan (anchor leg), junior Nick Pieper, sophomore Max Henke and freshman Jason Fleck.

Carmel is the defending team state champions. The Greyhounds and Chesterton have split the last eight state titles.
