Project “Chalk Talk” Unveils New Community Chalkboards (VIDEO)

FERDINAND (NNDC) – Today was the first day of classes for some local schools.  Many schools in this age of technology no longer use textbooks, instead they use tablets and Ipads.  Even chalkboards, a staple in schools just a generation ago, are becoming a thing of the past.

The 2015 class of the Dubois County Leadership Academy unveiled its “capstone” project Thursday at Ferdinand’s 18th Street Park.  It’s called “Project Chalk Talk.”
