JASPER (NNDC) – The “Will Read & Sing For Food” Show originally scheduled for tomorrow night at the Jasper Arts Center at VUJC is being moved to Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Show organizers say tomorrow’s scheduled appearance by Kelly Schaefer is prompting the move.

Shiloh United Methodist Church offers a larger venue for the anticipated crowd tomorrow night. The church is located at 1971 W State Road 56 on Jasper’s far westside.

Schaefer just released her book, “Fractured Not Broken,” her memoir of the life-changing accident in Colorado 1999 that seriously injured her brother Jason and left Kelly a quadriplegic.

The book tells of Kelly’s story of rebuilding her life. She is now married and is a teacher at Jasper’s Precious Blood Church. Kelly will read excerpts from the book tomorrow night as well as sign copies of the book for the audience.

Kelly says the book is about Faith, Hope and Love and it shares the story of how Shawn came into her life.

The show begins at 7PM. Proceeds will benefit “Friends of the Jasper Public Library.”

Admission is a $10 donation per person to “Friends of Jasper Public Library.”
