HUNTINGBURG (NNDC) – The Dubois County Bombers’ front office announced this afternoon that fans can purchase a “BUY ONE GET ONE FREE ANY TICKET”  for this Saturday’s Ohio Valley League first-round playoff game.

Team president Mike Uebelhor says this gives the Bombers organization an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to the very strong fan base for the 2015 season.  The Bombers will easily lead the league in home attendance again this season.

The Bombers will close the 2015 regular season at Madisonville on Tuesday, making up a game that was previously rained out. Last night’s Bomber win at Madisonville eliminates any remaining pennant hopes for the Miners.

If Dubois County wins tomorrow, they will win the league outright. A loss could potentially open the door for Fulton to tie the Bombers. In order to make that happen though, Fulton would also have to win their final two games tonight and tomorrow.

Last night’s win gives the Bombers home field advantage for the playoff semifinals.  Although the final pairings are still to be determined pending the outcome of games tonight and tomorrow, the Bombers will begin playoff action on the road on Friday. The first home playoff game will be at League Stadium on Saturday night with a potential home game Sunday as well to settle the best-of-three semifinals.

Gates open at 6PM Saturday; first pitch is at 7PM.
