Seven Vying For 2015 Miss Strassenfest Crown (PHOTO GALLERY)
This year, seven contestants will be vying for the title of Miss Strassenfest.
Scholarships will be awarded to the Miss and first runner-up in the amounts of $1000 and $500, respectively. A second runner-up, Miss Congeniality, and Miss Photogenic will also be awarded.
The seven contestants are:
Brooke Epple is the daughter of Kimberly and Kenneth Epple. She is a sophomore at Indiana University Southeast majoring in neonatal nursing. She volunteered at St Joseph and Holy Family Catholic Church.
Kelsey Graman is the daughter of Lesli and Wes Graman. She is a freshman at Indiana State University majoring in theatre and fashion merchandising. She volunteered at the crisis Connection.
Mikaela Lechner is the daughter of Carla and Jerry Lechner. She is a junior at Indiana State University majoring in protective services social work. She volunteered at the Holy Trinity.
Kaitlyn Leistner is the daughter of Gail Leistner and Donnie Brown. She is a freshman majoring in pediatric nursing at Vincennes University Jasper Campus. She volunteered at “Be.You.tiful” salon.
Camille Ruff is the daughter of Whitney and Dr. Michael Ruff. She will be a senior at Jasper High School. She volunteered at the Humane Society and Jasper Pediatrics.
Mariah Thewes is the daughter of A’lynn and Terry Thewes. She will be a freshman at Indiana University studying business law. She volunteered at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
Kayla Werner is the daughter of Hillary and Jeremy Werner. She will be a freshman at Indiana University majoring in international studies. She volunteered at Brookside Village.
