Nathan R. Leinenbach, 38, Ireland
Nathan R. Leinenbach, age 38 of Ireland, Indiana, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Monday (July 6, 2015) at home. He was born in Huntingburg June 30, 1977, to Stan and Claudette (Fromme) Leinenbach. He married Lori Haase June 10, 2006, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.
Nathan worked in sales for Uebelhor and Sons in Jasper and was a farmer in the Ireland area. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church and volunteered there with the church picnic, organized various fundraisers to help families in need, and was on the preschool board. He was a member of the Ireland Lions Club, the Ireland Sportsmans Club, and was president of Ireland Youth Sports, where he coached since 2006. He was a 1996 graduate of Jasper High School and was co-captain and second baseman on Jasper’s 1996 state champion baseball team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his children, and was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Leinenbach; one daughter, Gabrielle Leinenbach, Ireland; two sons, Ryne Leinenbach and Isaac Messersmith, both of Ireland; his father, Stan Leinebach, Ireland; and two sisters, Brehan Leinenbach and Meghan Buchta and husband Luke, all of Jasper.Preceding him in death was his mother, Claudette Leinenbach, and an infant sister, Augusta Leinenbach.
Services at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
