Kyle Busch Wins at Sonoma With Jasper 3-Speed Transmission
JASPER (NNDC) – Kyle Busch raced home winner Saturday in the Toyota-Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. He took the checkered flag running a Jasper 4-speed transmission, holding off his older brother Kurt Busch for the victory, his first of the 2015 season. It marked the first time brothers have finished one-two in a Sprint Series race.
Jasper Engines and Transmissions was again well-represented in the race. Clint Bowyer, also equipped with a Jasper 4-speed transmission, finished third, Joey Logano, with a Jasper differential, finished fifth, giving Jasper three spots in the top five. Also, Denny Hamlin (18th), Matt Kenseth (21st), David Ragan (39th), Carl Edwards (40th), and Martin Truex, Jr. (42nd) were all running with Jasper 4-speed transmissions, and Brad Keselowski (19th) with a Jasper differential.
