County Residents Asked To Take Part In County Parks Survey

JASPER (NNDC) – So, what do you think about Dubois County’s parks? That’s what a new survey wants to know!

The Dubois County Park and Recreation Board and county’s municipal park boards are in the initial stages of creating a new five-year master plan (2017-2021) for county parks. The survey results will be included in the plan.

Actual survey questions include; Do you support construction of the Parklands located in Jasper?; Would you support additional camping pads at the Dubois County Park, which would result in increased user fees?; and, Do you find it difficult to find out about recreational opportunities and programs within the county?

The survey is available both online (  and in paper form at local libraries, area banks, and city or town halls.

All survey answers will be kept confidential.

Any questions concerning the survey can be directed to Indiana 15 Executive Director Lisa Gehlhausen, 812-367-8455.
