Jasper Race Products Score Big at Michigan International Speedway
BROOKLYN, MICHIGAN (NNDC) – Jasper Engines and Transmissions fared well Sunday in the Quicken Loans 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and the Great Clips 250 xFinity Series race Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway. Kurt Busch won Saturday’s race, which was stopped by rain after the completion of 138 of the scheduled 200 laps.
Jasper race products were on board on seven of the top 12 finishers. Martin Truex, Jr. (3d), Matt Kenseth (4th), Clint Bowyer (10th), Denny Hamlin (11th), and Carl Edwards (12th) were all equipped with Jasper 4-speed transmissions, Joey Logano (5th) and Brad Keselowski (6th) with Jasper differentials.
On Saturday, Kyle Busch took the checkered flag with a Jasper 4-speed transmission, Joey Logan finished seventh with a Jasper differential, and Denny Hamlin tenth with a Jasper 4-speed transmission.
