MNASCAR Media Dayartin Truex, Jr., won the Axalta 400 Sunday at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvia, with a Jasper Engines 4-speed transmission, qualifying his No. 78 Chevrolet for The Chase for the Sprint Cup. Truex took the checkered flag holding off season points leader Kevin Harvick, who finished second.
Jimmy Johnson, Joey Logano (equipped with a Jasper differential), and pole-sitter Kurt Busch rounded out Sunday’s top five finishers. Matt Kenseth finished sixth, Kyle Bussch ninth and Denny Hamlin 10th, all with Jasper 4-speed transmissions.
The win was the first of the season for Truex, his first in two years, his third career Sprint Cup win.
