Southridge High School Bass Club Team Wins “State Championship”; Advances To Regional Conference Tournament
HUNTINGBURG (NNDC) – The two-man team of Eli Lubbehusen and Colton O’Brien brought a five-bass limit to the scale Sunday weighing 15 pounds, 8 ounces, to win the 2015 Indiana State High School Fishing Championship this past weekend on Patoka Lake. Eli and Colton are one of two teams from the Southridge High School Bass Club that competed this weekend in the Indiana High School Bass Fishing State Championship.
A total of 32 teams from across Indiana also competed in the two-day event.
The team of Lubbehusen and O’Brien earned the team the title of state champions and qualified them to compete in the High School Fishing Central Conference championship on Lake Carlyle near Carlyle, Illinois in September.

Southridge is one of two teams from Indiana to qualify for the HSFCC finals. The other is from Bloomington.
