JASPER (Local Sources) –  Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company recently promoted Greg Matheis to Vice President in addition to his current role as Commercial Lender and Retail Lending Team Leader.

Joining Springs Valley in February 2013 as a commercial lender, Matheis works closely with commercial customers to review their financial needs, with a focus on growth. In February 2014 Matheis transitioned into the commercial lender and retail lending team leader position, assuming the added responsibility of overseeing the management, direction, and development of the Retail Lending Department.

Prior to joining Springs Valley, Matheis was responsible for profitably growing the branch in deposits, commercial lending, and consumer lending as a Financial Center Manager at Fifth Third Bank.  Due to significant accomplishments, he was named the recipient of the 2010 and 2011 Fifth Third President’s Award, among other awards. Matheis holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Indianapolis and he is a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County. Greg and his wife Connie are proud parents of two daughters, Madison and Megan.

Springs Valley Bank & Trust recently promoted Dianna Land to Vice President in addition to her current human resources and marketing director role. Joining Springs Valley Bank in 2003, Land has held positons in operations, information technology, human resources, and marketing.

Dianna is a 1995 graduate of Springs Valley High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Harrison College. She is currently in her final term at Southern New Hampshire University completing her Masters in Marketing degree. Dianna holds a Senior Human Resources Certification from the HR Certification Institute and is a 2009 Human Resources Management graduate from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Jasper and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Dianna and husband Chris, have three children and one grandchild.

“Springs Valley Bank & Trust Promotes Ansley Jenkins to Assistant Vice President”

Springs Valley Bank & Trust recently promoted Ansley Jenkins to Assistant Vice President in addition to her current credit analyst role. Jenkins joined Springs Valley Bank in 2011 as a teller and worked briefly in deposit operations.   In 2013, she advanced to the credit analyst position.

“Jenkins has been promoted to Assistant Vice President for exemplary work performance as evidenced by bank regulators, loan review, and audit results,” said Jamie Shinabarger, President  & CEO of Springs Valley Bank & Trust. He continued, “Her work skillset, aptitude, and initiative have earned her this promotion.”

Jenkins is a 2004 graduate of Jasper High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University. She is a recent graduate of the Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) Commercial Lending School and has attended numerous courses and seminars in her field.  Ansley and her husband Drew are proud parents of daughter, Braylen and reside in Jasper, Indiana.
