School Days To Start Earlier; End Sooner Too At Ireland Elementary
IRELAND (Local Sources ) – A day at school for the 2015-16 school year at Ireland Elementary will start a little sooner and end a little later.
In a memo Monday to parents, school principal Ray Mehling said the school day will begin at 7:50am and end at 2:50pm.
The change in time is due changes in bus schedules and other transportation factors that go into effect in the new school year such as shuttle busses will no longer used and regular buses will be on more direct routes to and from the school.
In the memo, Mehling said, “Ireland Elementary School is the outlying school in the district, thus the need to begin the dismissal process at our site and travel to the schools in Jasper.”
No other schools in the Greater Jasper Consolidated School Corporation are affected by the time change.
