DCSD Investigation Nets Arrest On Multiple Drug Charges
JASPER (NNDC) – A Dubois County Sheriff’s Department drug investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Jasper man on several felony counts.
With a Dubois County Superior Court search warrant in hand 32-year old Mathew Tyler was arrested Monday at his place of employment after the department’s K-9 “Judge” found illegal substances in Tyler’s pickup truck.
DCSD says precursors were found in the truck as were air tanks converted into storage tanks for anhydrous ammonia. Those were found in the bed of the truck.
Tyler is charged with possession of two more precursors (Level 6 felony), possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture (Level 6 felony), maintaining a common nuisance (Level 6 felony and a Class A misdemeanor of improper storage of anhydrous ammonia.
DCSD was assisted by the Indiana State Lab Team in its investigation.
