Irma V. Kluemper-Mundy, 69, Bretzville
Irma V. Kluemper-Mundy, 69 of Bretzville, died Tuesday (May 12) at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. She was born in Ferdinand February 16, 1946, to Joseph C. and Mathilda (Schulthies) Braunecker. She married Cyril H. Mundy October 12, 2001. He died December 27, 2013.
Irma worked for Towns Promotions for 15 years as the executive salesperson. She was self employed as a pre-school teacher for Bright Kids Prechool for seven years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony and the Ferdinand Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, attending sporting events, and spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Voges and husband Allen, Bretzville; two sons, Scott Kluemper and wife Annette, and Kevin Kluemper and wife Rebecca, all of Monrovia; three step-daughters, Bonnie Meadows and husband Bob, Debbie Schmitt and husband Curt, and Jane Bonifer and husband Phil, all of Ireland; one step-son, Rodney Mundy and wife Kim, Ireland; nine grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Begle, Ferdinand, and four brothers, Leroy Braunecker and wife Betty, and Charles Braunecker and wife Norma, Ferdinand, Joseph Braunecker, Jr. and wife St. Meinrad, and Gene Braunecker, Bretzville; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her aents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and James Braunecker.
Services at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Entombment to follow at a later date at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church on Monday.
