Jasper 9 Gibson Southern 1

Evan Aders blasted a grand slam home run to lead the undefeated 3A No. 2 Wildcats to a 9-1 win over the visiting Titans Monday night at Ruxer Field. Jasper ran its record to 19 and 0 with the victory. Aders finished with six RBI for the night.


North Posey 8 Forest Park 1

North Posey posted four runs in the third inning and three more in the fourth enroute to an 8 to 1 win over Forest Park at Bretzville. Jordan Voges, Taylor Prechtel, Mariah Morgan, Katelyn Roos, Taylor Nordhoff, Payton Begle, and Madi Giesler all had singles for the Lady Rangers. Forest Park is now 7 and 13 for the year.

Tell City 9 Southridge 2

The visiting Marksmen scored three runs in the top of the first inning and never trailed enroute to a 9 to 2 victory over the Lady Raiders. After being blanked for six innings Southridge rallied for its lone two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Tell City outhit Southridge, 13 to 8. Kassidy Munday had two hits for Southridge.

Gibson Southern swept all three singles and both doubles enroute to a shutout win on the Titans friendly home courts. The hosts won the junior varsity game, 6-1. The Lady Rangers Anna Becher and Emmy Miller won number 5 doubles, 6-0.
