Anna Mae Lampert, 79, Celestine
Anna Mae Lampert, 79, of Celestine, died Monday (May 4) at The Timbers of Jasper. She was born March 12, 1936,to Carl and Marie (Schneider) Hasenour. She married Ralph C. Lampert October 15, 1960. He died March 28, 2011.
Anna Mae was a homemaker, and a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church, The V.F.W Auxiliary, St. Celestine Home Ec. Club, and the St. Celestine St. Ann’s Society. She enjoyed the outdoors, bingo, cards, and her pet cats.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty Stapleton and husband Marvin, Duff, and Laverne Mosier, Ireland; one brothers, Ronald Hasenour and wife Jan, Jasper; two brothers-in-law, Linus Kluemper and Albert Rasche, both of Jasper; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Kluemper, Rosa Lee “Rosie” Hasenour, and Virlee Rasche.
Services at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Celestine Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church. The St. Ann’s Society will pray the rosary at 2:45 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Celestine Church or to a favorite charity.
