Helen K. Dworianyn, 99, Chicago

Helen K. Dworianyn, 99, of Chicago, died Friday, September 11, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Winnipeg, Canada, June 13, 1921.

Helen was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in Chicago where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by two sons, Emil Dworianyn and wife Wendy, Huntingburg, and Eric Dworianyn and wife Bernadette, Libertyville, Illinois; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchidren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers, Alfred, Lawrence, Adam, and Omar Romanow.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. ( C.D.T.) Thursday at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cathedral in Chicago with burial following in the cathedral cemetery.
