Allan P. Friedman, 78, Jasper

Allan P. Friedman, 78, of Jasper, died Tuesday, February 18, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Jasper November 29, 1941, to Othmar and Annetta (Basch) Friedman.

Allan was a graduate of Jasper High School. He was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He retired from Jasper Cabinet Company where he was a repairman and finisher for 34 years. He was a member of VFW Post 673 and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake.

He is survived by one sister, Karen Schulz and husband John, Lafayette; one niece, Susan Finney and husband Chris, Columbus; one nephew, Mike Schulz, Indianapolis; one great-niece, Claire Finney, and one great-nephew, Cole Finney.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Father Donald Ackerman will officiate. VFW Post 673 will conduct military graveside rites. Online condolences can be shared at www.becherkluesner.com.
