Nora Fleck, 80, St. Anthony

Nora Fleck, 80, of St. Anthony, died Thursday, October 24, at her home. She was born in Kyana July 4, 1939, to Clifford and Elsie (Waddell) Huff. She married Ralph B. Fleck, August 30,1958, at Holy Family Church in Jasper. He died November 12, 2016.

Nora retired from Pine Ridge Elementary School where she worked as a cook in the cafeteria

She was a member of  Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Campus, Christian Mothers Sodality, St. Anthony Community Center, Schnellville Community Club, Schnellville Conservation Club, and the Birdseye Red  Hats Society.

She is survived by three daughters, Connie Schnell and husband Melvin, Celestine, Wanda Recker, St. Anthony, and Elaine Fleck and companion Kurt Rauscher, Huntingburg; two sons, Rick Fleck and wife Carla, Kyana, and Brian Fleck and wife Jenny, St. Anthony, 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- granddaughter.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sarah V. Fleck; one son-in-law, Keith Recker; one sister, sister, Sarah Margaret Schroeder; and three brothers, Henry Frank, John Arthur, and Riley D. Huff.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Church. A rosary will be prayed at 2:45 p.m. Monday by the Christrian Mothers Sodality at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Anthony Cemetery Fund. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
